Workshop

The workshop provides the following two options for schools to choose from. Please select one of the following options:
Option 1: Consists of one field trip session and one on-campus topic discussion session. It is free of charge. Hoi Ha Wan - Amazing Coral
Content Conduct seawater analysis, explore coral nursery processes, and observe plankton using scientific equipment. Learn how human activities affect marine biodiversity while enjoying a glass-bottomed boat trip to witness underwater life.

Ocean Park - The Journey of Gaint Panda
Content Discover the fascinating world of giant pandas through hands-on activities and real-life observations. Learn about their biology, habitat, and conservation in Hong Kong and mainland China. Experience interactive exhibits, observe pandas up close, and explore sustainability initiatives at Ocean Park.

Remarks:
  1. The number of funding quota is limited. If applications exceed the quota, selection will be made by drawing lots.
  2. Schools participating in this subsidised field trip programme are eligible to apply for a maximum of HK$3,500 funding from Environment and Ecology Bureau (EEB). Participating school must conduct the activity on or before 31 July 2026 and submit a brief activity report and expenditure report to EEB, together with the official receipt to apply for reimbursement. Sample report forms will be provided by EEB by email.
